Online faster, full price for longer

An item that is not online does not sell. The sooner it is online, the longer you can sell it at full price.

The calculation model

Items × sales per week × price × weeks online earlier.

Example: 5,000 new items per year, 0.5 sales per week per item, €60 average price, and online one week earlier. That brings in an estimated ±€150,000 in revenue one week sooner, and leaves you with less inventory to mark down.

This is an estimate, not a saving: it is not included in the hours and costs. Enter your own figures on the management page.

What we measured with customers

  • From arrival to online in under 12 hours.
  • More than 60% of new items online before the stock arrived.

Measured at one of our customers in September 2026: the moment an item came into stock compared with the first photo sent to the webshop.

Full price and markdowns

A collection sells at full price for a limited number of weeks. After that, the sale starts. Every week an item goes online later means one less week of full-price sales, and more inventory you will need to mark down later.

Example: with a 12-week full-price season, going online one week later costs one twelfth of those weeks.

Where Photopilot saves time
