How Photopilot works with easyPOS

If you use easyPOS as your POS and inventory system, your products, colors, sizes, and barcodes are already there. easyPOS provides a product feed built specifically for Photopilot, so items and existing photos come in automatically. Photopilot turns them into complete product pages, with images and copy for each color.

What comes in from easyPOS

From the easyPOS product feed, Photopilot reads each product’s colors, sizes with their EANs, additional product attributes, and dimensions. Photos already linked to a product in easyPOS are also included as a starting point. One item in Photopilot is one product in one color, using the product number and color number as the key. That keeps everything traceable one-to-one back to easyPOS.

Choose which products are included

With a property in easyPOS, you choose which products are sent to Photopilot, for example only products that need new images or AI enrichment. This keeps the overview in Photopilot clean, and you only pay for what you actually want to process. You can add or disable a product directly in easyPOS, without sending lists back and forth. Properties such as target audience and specifications are included and used to generate the texts.

From POS system to full product page

For each color item from easyPOS, Photopilot finds the best images: photos that already exist, supplier images matched by EAN or item number, or your own studio photos. Background, crop, and aspect ratios are standardized, and where an image is missing, Photopilot creates packshots, lifestyle images, or AI model photos. Using the attributes and dimensions in easyPOS, Photopilot writes product copy and SEO copy in your tone of voice. Iris, the AI creative director, makes sure the images form one recognizable style together.

How images and text are delivered

easyPOS remains the source of truth for product, color, and barcode. Approved images and copy go to your online store, or via FTP or SFTP with the product number and color number in the filename, so they align seamlessly with the easyPOS items. The Webshop Excel and the API are also available. Image order and alt text are included, and a replaced image is also cleaned up at the destination.

Always up to date, even when the store is busy

Every ten minutes, Photopilot retrieves changed products from easyPOS, with a full daily pass for changes that do not have a new date. A product you create in easyPOS today is therefore ready for images and text almost immediately. The dashboard shows which colors are still missing a photo or description. With autopilot, new products move through the entire workflow automatically according to your rules.

Connect in an afternoon

easyPOS prepares the product feed for you and provides a feed URL, optionally with a token. You enter it in Photopilot, after which the first full run starts and you immediately see which products are coming in. You agree which attribute is used to select products and which online store or FTP folder receives the images. No IT project is needed, and easyPOS itself does not need to be configured differently.
