Where things often go wrong in Scayle.
Attributes that differ by country or language
In Scayle, an attribute group can have a separate value for each language. Photopilot fills every language so no shop country is left empty.
Values that do not exist in the attribute group
A filter only works with the values known to the attribute group. Photopilot fills target group and color using your own values, never free text.
Two sources overwriting each other
If a PIM or ERP already fills in attributes, we define in advance which groups Photopilot manages. Anything you set yourself stays as it is.
How we connect Scayle.

Map fields and picklists
We define which fields in Scayle are leading, which ones Photopilot fills, and which values belong to your option lists.
- 3
Trial run on your items
Photopilot enriches a selection of real items. You can review the changes field by field before anything goes live.
- 4
Enable by attribute and by field
After that, it runs automatically for every new item. We always enable publishing to the live shop together.

Which Scayle attributes does Photopilot use?
Brand, color, product group, composition and care instructions are used as the basis for the text. Photopilot fills in anything missing in your own attribute groups.
Does this work with localized attribute groups?
Yes. Product text and SEO are added to the localized attribute groups for each language, so every shop country has a complete product page.
Which key does Photopilot use to link Scayle products?
By the reference key, the master key or the EAN from the product attributes, so data from your ERP or suppliers is matched to the right product.
